School Fundraiser
The girls being taught English sometimes walk 3 or 4 kilometers to reach the center after school. The center provides education, tutoring, and material needs for the girls, all of whom live in slum areas of the city. While government school is free under 9th grade, children are required to supply their own uniforms, textbooks, workbooks, and supplies. As many of the girls’s families cannot afford it, we are in need of assistance. Just $45 will provide all of the necessary items for one girl.
